AISCloud – The new, mobile network operator-independent, mobile recoding solution

AISCloud is a mobile network operator-independent mobile recording solution for Android devices, developed by AIS Finland and Consolida Ltd. Call recording with AISCloud is fully automatic or activated as record on demand, depending on organisation’s call recording policy. Using AISCloud, listening recordings and configuring user-specific settings, is effortless with the AISCloud app. Recordings are automatically moved to AISCloud servers and are available for download and listening through secured web portal, accessible with all the major web browsers.

AISCloud meets the requirements set by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the revised Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II). The transmission of the recordings between the mobile device and our Finland-based data center, downloading the recording files from the servers, as well as, listening to the recordings on our web portal, are always conducted using secure transmission protocols. All recordings are stored encrypted and integrity of the recording files can be verified anytime. The AISCloud data center is highly secured, including e.g. firewall protection, access control and regular backups.

New in AIS Call-Rec: CSTA Connections for Unify Openscape Business, Openscape 4000 and the Avaya platform

New in AIS Call-Rec: CSTA Connections for Unify Openscape Business, Openscape 4000 and the Avaya platform

Many of our partners have been asking for CSTA connectivity in the past. We are happy to announce that work is progressing and we can now offer CSTA connection to the main Unify platforms and the Avaya platform.

So what does that mean:
Usually recording is done by means of port-mirroring the data to AIS Call-Rec This is not always technically possible, for instance when phones are in a remote location and internal calls need to be monitored. Also in many cases not all relevant information can be seen by using port-mirroring. With a CSTA connection the recorder can ask the PBX to actively direct the call data and the call itself from the phones to the recorder. This means less unneeded network traffic and less infrastructural problems.

New customer introduction: United Bankers

New customer introduction: United Bankers

We have added a new customer introduction to our website. This time we introduce United Bankers. Our collaboration with United Bankers began as early as in turn of the millennium, when we provided first two separate call recorder devices for them. These days United Bankers uses our fully centralized Apresa call recording system that records all UB’s incoming and outgoing calls.

MiFiD II –directive scheduled to take effect in January 2017

MiFiD II –directive scheduled to take effect in January 2017

Revision of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive – MiFID II (2014/65/EU) aims to make financial markets more efficient, resilient and transparent, and to strengthen the protection of investors. It brings new regulations to companies operating in the financial services sector.

Call recording is one of the new regulations set by MiFiD II. The directive obliges companies to record phone conversations and retain e-communications relating to all transactions, both concluded or potential transactions, and keep those records for a minimum of five years.

With AIS Finland’s call recording services companies can easily satisfy the call recording regulations set by the directive. If you aren’t sure if your firm’s current call recording system meets the MiFID II obligations, or you don’t currently have any call recording system, contact us! We will go through your current system and assess if it meets the call recording obligations of the directive and, if needed, we will build a call recording solution for you.
